Buying and selling safely

The golden rule: pay and get paid only on the platform. It is the only way to be protected.

The most common scams

• The fake payment link: a “buyer” sends you a link to “receive the money”. The link steals your card details. We never send payment links by message.
• Prepayment outside the platform: a seller asks for a bank transfer or a direct TWINT payment, then disappears.
• The imaginary courier: a buyer abroad offers to send “their courier”. The platform only works in Switzerland.

Our protections

• The money is held until hand-over or 48 hours after delivery.
• Every member has verified their identity (ID and selfie); sellers also their bank account.
• Messages flag links, IBANs and phone numbers.
• Every sale ends with a public rating.

Tips

• For a kite or wing, ask for photos of the valve and the inflated leading edge. For a foil, photos of the screws and fittings.
• In person, check the gear before giving your code.
• A price that looks too good to be true often is.
